Authorities in the Russian city of Yaroslavl paid to restore a synagogue attacked by vandals last month. The city administration and a local representative to the Russian Parliament paid more than $3,000 to cover damage done to the synagogue, according to Nadezhda Nosova, executive director of the Tse Ulmad Jewish community center, which is housed in the synagogue.
