Baltimore’s Hias Drive Successful

The annual drive for funds now being conducted here for the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society is meeting with great success, it was announced by Dr. Rudolph Kornblith of the New York main office.

A representative committee headed by Rabbi William Rosenau of the Eutaw Place Temple, has been organized. Among the others supporting the drive are: Rabbis Adolph Coblenz and Samuel Rosenblatt, and Messrs. Milton Fleischer, Jacob S. Sapperstein, Isaac Cohen, S. W. Snitzer, N. Lubitz, J. Zubkoff, L. Gold, A. Forshlager, M. Snyder, L. Pachino, N. Bank, Sydney Needle, M. Shaffer, D. Chertkoff and J. Nizen. Mr. Israel Silberstein is president of the local HIAS branch.
