No Jew in Cologne can participate in auction sales arranged by the Municipal pawnshops, it is announced today by the Westdeutscher Beobachter. The paper declares that all Jews, with the exception of those who can prove active war service, have been excluded from participating in these sales by order of the municipality.

Jewish front fighters are admitted only if they can prove that they are paying their taxes regularly.

The same paper reports that 2,000 “non-Aryan” lawyers were admitted to practice throughout Germany since May 1. The paper complains that the “Aryan paragraph” is being mildly applied so for as “non-Aryan” lawyers are concerned.
