Baron de Rothschild, French Senator, today told a group of Jewish Congressmen, that Hitlerism will soon fall in Germany. He assailed the policies of the Nazis toward the Jews.
“Most gratifying news has come,” he said. “The mark has fallen and the gold reserves are reduced. I don’t say it will be tomorrow, but some day the Hitler regime will fall.”
The Baron received an invitation from Representative Samuel Dickstein, who said he represented the Jews of America, to attend the Jewish people’s Day to be held in connection with the Chicago World’s Fair on July 29.
