Bavarian Jews Afraid to Walk the Streets

Numbers of Jews in the smaller Bavarian towns are fleeing to the larger cities, out of fear of pogroms, according to the anti-Semitic “Miesbacher Anzeiger”.

This report is confirmed by recent arrivals from Bavaria who declare that all of Bavarian Jewry are terror-stricken and that Jews there are afraid of appearing on the streets during the evening on account of constant threats. A recent pogrom which was planned for January, was averted, it is reported, with the greatest difficulty
