Bayer Aspirin Company’s representative in Hungary, the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Company, has discharged thirteen employes because they are of “non-Aryan” origin. Bayer Aspirin is a subsidiary of the German dyes trust.
One woman clerk who had been employed by the company for 14 years suffered a nervous breakdown as a result of her dismissal. Among the others discharged were the managing director of the factory and the director of its scientific department.
