The Palestine Emergency Fund has decided to resettle Beertuvia with fifty families, the heads of which are mostly ex-legionaires. The ex-legionaires are compensating the old settlers who do not desire to return. While the final number of settlers depends upon the availability of a water supply, some twenty ex-soldiers will start the work of rebuilding within a fortnight.
