Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion returning from his vacation at Sdch Boker, has again reiterated his old contention that “Zionism is void of meaning if if does not involve settling in Israel.”

He made that statement at a meeting here last night of the Women’s International Zionist Organization, which celebrated its 40th anniversary at a gala rally at the Mann Auditorium here, attended by members of the diplomatic corps and prominent Israelis.

After insisting on settlement in Israel as the real meaning of Zionism, Premier Ben-Gurion told the WIZO celebrants: “Tell your members in exile also that they must insist on the children having a proper Hebrew education.”
