Berlin Press Denounces Numerus Clausus Agitation

Leading liberal papers are denouncing editorially the agitation started at the University of Berlin by the anti-Semitic Voelkische student group for the introduction of a numerus clausus against Jewish students.

The newspapers point to the recent five hundred thousand dollar fund presented to the University of Heidelberg by United States Ambassador Schurman toward which many American Jews were contributors.
