Berlin to Name Street After Rathenau

A new street just laid out in Berlin will be named “Rathenau Strasse”, the Berlin City Council has decided.

The proposal by the Centre and Democratic parties to rename the Berliner Strasse in Charlottenberg suburb as the Erzberger Strasse and the Dorf Strasse in Templehof as the Rathenau Strasse were rejected by the votes of the Right and the Communists.
