Bernard Baron Establishes $2,500,000 Trust for Charities

Bernard Baron, well known Jewish philanthropist who began his career as a cigar maker in New York, working at the same bench with Samuel Gompers, has created a trust fund for his charitable contributions.

With a sum of £500,000 Mr. Baron established the fund to make bequests during the next twenty years. The Marquis of Reading was chosen chairman of the board which will administer the fund.
