The bill now under consideration in the Polish Parliament for the withdrawal of concessions for monopoly articles, which threatens the economic existence of many Jewish firms, may be modified in such a way that its consequences will not be felt immediately. A promise in this direction was made today by the Polish Vice-Premier, Thugutt, and the Polish Minister of Trade, Kedron, after a conference with the Jewish Sejm members, Dr. Reich, Dr. Thom, Dr. Shipper, Waclaw Wislicki and Schreiber.
