An annual series of lectureships, to be known as the Jacob Blaustein Lectures in International Relations, has been established at Lehigh University, it was announced today by Dr. Harvey A. Neville, university president.
The lectureships were created for presentation at Lehigh through a $25,000 grant from the Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Foundation of Baltimore. The entire grant is to be used for the first five lectureships at Lehigh between 1962 and 1967. The Blaustein Lectures will feature annually a world statesman or distinguished scholar in a series of lectures given within the period of one week, or less, on the Lehigh Campus. The topic of each series will concern a major world issue.
