Membership in the B’nai B’rith’s Women’s Organization has increased from 92,000 to 106,000 during the past year, Mrs. Abram Orlow, of Philadelphia, president of the B’nai B’rith Women’s Supreme Council, reported to 50 delegates gathered here for a two-day session.
During the year, 52 new chapters were organized and the total contributions to various B’nai B’rith projects increased from $600,000 to $50,000, she said. Ten chapters are now functioning in foreign countries, including five in Palestine, two in England, and one each in Australia, Mexico and Greece.
