Bonn Decorates Detroit Woman for Fostering German-jewish Relations

A gold medal and a citation for working to “foster a better spirit of understanding between world Jewry and the West German Government’,” was presented here today to Mrs. Marguerite Kozenn Chajes, an internationally known soprano.

The medal, the Knights Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, was presented to Mrs. Chajes by the acting German Consul in Detroit, H. G. Schober.
