Book Issued by Publisher Aided by Czecho-slovakia Attacks Jews

In a book published here today by a publisher partially subsidized by the ministry of education the Jews are made the target of a vicious attack. “Robbery in trade, ignorance of artisanship and agriculture are the chief characteristics of the Jewish race,” writes Josef Ulehal, head of a government school, in his work on “Research in Human Development.”

The fact that such sentiments are voiced in a volume issued by the Komensky Co., which receives a subvention from the government, has caused surprise in Jewish circles here that the government should officially associate itself with anti-Semitic propaganda. The book also alleges that “the Jews are a blood-thirsty people. Forty to fifty of the Bolshevist leaders are Jews. Jews also headed the German revolution after the abdication of the Kaiser.”
