Boris Young, executive vice-president of the American Friends of Tel Aviv University, died suddenly last night in San Francisco where he was on a business trip. He was 58. Mr. Young underwent open-heart surgery a year and a half ago. Born in Boston and an honor graduate of Harvard University, Mr. Young devoted his career to Jewish organizational life in which he served in many capacities. He joined the professional staff of the Israel Bond Organization in its early years and was City Manager of the Bond Organization of Greater Los Angeles from 1961 until his resignation in 1972. He was a resident of Los Angeles for many years.
