Boston United Palestine Appeal Drive for $250,000 to Be Launched This Week

Governor Alvan T. Fuller of Massachusetts and Dr. Stephen S. Wise of New York, will open the United Palestine Appeal campaign here on Washington’s birthday, February 22, 1928 at the Boston Chamber of Commerce. The Campaign is for $250,000, Greater Boston’s quota towards the United Palestine Appeal Campaign.

On Wednesday afternoon, Morris Rothenberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Palestine Appeal, will address a conference of all New England Zionist districts, United Palestine Appeal Committees, and other key workers.

The amount of $25,000 was forwarded this week by the local United Palestine Appeal Committee to the national office. Jacob Rabinovitz is chairman of the United Palestine Appeal Campaign. Elihu D. Stone, president of the New England Zionist Region will preside at the emergency conference.
