Both Anniversary of Ort Celebrated in France; Organization Lauded

Representatives of the French Government, including Minister of Labor Paul Bacon, today attended ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of ORT in France, and congratulated the organization on its achievements.

M. Bacon, leading rabbis and other ranking members of the Jewish community of France toured a special exhibit illustrating the work of ORT here over the years. M. Bacon lauded the organization for its “contributions to French economic expansion through the training of qualified workers technicians, and master craftsmen.”
