Boy Sets Fire to Synagogue in Germany; Extinguished by Firemen

Police reported here that an eight-year-old boy tried to set fire to the doors of the Luebeck synagogue this week but the fire was discovered and doused by firemen before serious damage was done. A complaint was filed against a storekeeper who sold matches to the boy.
