Brazilian Academy of Medicine Awards Medal to Israeli Scientist

Professor Saul Adler, chairman of the department of biology at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, was awarded a medal here by the Brazilian Academy of Medicine. He was cited for his “distinguished contribution” toward combating leischmaniasis, a disease caused by a variety of protozoan parasite, prevalent in this country.
