Britain Assures Jews She Will Adhere to Tripartite Declaration

Barnett Janner, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, called at the Foreign Office today to confer on Middle East affairs with R.H. Turton, Foreign Undersecretary. During a discussion on the arms balance in the Middle East, Mr. Turton assured Mr. Janner that Britain was adhering strictly to the terms of the Tripartite Declaration, in which the United States, Britain and France pledged to guarantee the borders of the Arab states and Israel against aggression.
