Britain Will Honor Palestine Mandate Defense Bonds on Same Basis As Own Securities

Defense bonds and savings certificates issued by the British Mandate Government of Palestine before May, 1948, will be treated as liabilities of the United Kingdom, the Colonial Office announced.

Holders of these Palestine Government securities were requested by the Colonial Office to register their ownership and full details of their holdings with the Under-Secretary for Colonies.
