Britain’s foreign secretary hailed Israel’s recent moves to “put the peace process back on track.” At the start of his trip to Israel on Sunday, Robin Cook went out of his way to undo some of the damage created by his previous visit to the Jewish state. In March 1998, Cook created an uproar by publicly challenging the policies of then-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
