Britain’s foreign secretary said his staff had met with officials linked to Hamas. Ahead of a visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Foreign Secretary Jack Straw told BBC Radio on Tuesday that his diplomats had held two meetings with officials linked to the “nonmilitary” wing of the Islamic terrorist group.
