The Ottoman Bank of London and the Palestine Discount Bank Ltd. of Tel Aviv today announced the signing of an agreement under which the Palestine Mercantile Bank Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Discount Bank, has taken over all business hitherto carried on by the Ottoman Bank branches in Israel. The agreement became effective June 30.
