The British Government was asked in Parliament today to encourage more British investments in Israel. The plea was voiced by deputy H. S. Johnson, Conservative, during a debate on the government budget.

The Conservative member of the House of Commons also asked the British Government “to provide Israel with more facilities on the London money market.” He emphasized that Israel has today the “most stable government in the entire Middle East” and said that Israel is today Britain’s best friend in the Middle East.
