British J.N.F. Sets £250,000 Quota in World Funds Drive

A conference of the Jewish National Fund of Britain and Ireland today adopted a £250,000 quota in the fund’s world appeal for £1,000,000, declaring in a resolution that the utmost must be done to save Polish Jewish refugees from Nazi persecution and that only through a bold policy of land redemption could large-scale immigration to Palestine be maintained.
