British Jewish leaders are criticizing a television documentary about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as “highly irresponsible” and “showing remarkable contempt for historical accuracy.” The Board of Deputies said ITV’s “Back to the Front with Michael Nicholson,” shown Aug. 12, aired “a wholly one-sided depiction of an Israel where Jews are tyrannical oppressors and the Palestinians their helpless victims.”
