British Jews Seek $400,000 for Relief of Jewish War Victims

The United Jewish Relief Committee here today launched a campaign to raise $400,000 for the relief of Jewish war victims in Axis-occupied countries. A public appeal for contributions was issued by Chief Rabbi Joseph Hertz.

Participating in the drive are the Federation of Jewish Relief Organization the Polish-Jewish Refugee Fund, the Federation of Czechoslovakian Jews, the Chief Rabbi’s Religious Emergency Council and the Keren Hatorah.
