The Liberal Party Council here last night condemned further arming of Egypt, except in connection with a Middle East defense scheme.

Originally, the meeting was asked to condemn all arming of Egypt until after peace was concluded between Israel and Egypt. However, the resolution was amended to delete the reference to Israel and to replace it with the condition that Egyptian arming be held off until a Middle East command was in the making.
