Colin Jordan, leader of the British National Socialist movement, has been refused permission to hold another rally in Trafalgar Square on May 19, a Government spokesman said today.
“It was decided that in view of the likelihood of serious disorders occurring at any such meeting, it would not be in the interests of the public to allow the meeting to take place, ” the spokesman said.
Jordan will complete on May 7 a nine-month prison term imposed for breach of the public order act, partly arising from his arrest for his leading a violently anti-Semitic rally in the same square last July.
