British Officials Reported Favoring Dominion Status for Jewish State

British Government circles favor dominion status for the Jewish State which would be established under the Palestine partition scheme reported contained in the Royal Commission findings, the Hebrew daily, Haaretz, reported from London today.

The Executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine is submitting the partition plan to leaders of all Zionist parties prior to the World Zionist Congress opening in Zurich, Switzerland, Aug. 3, the dispatch said.

Jamal el Husseini, president of the Palestine Arab Party, is visiting Rome to confer with Premier Mussolini, it was disclosed today, on his way here from London, where he served as member of a delegation seeking to arouse sentiment in British official circles for the Arab cause.
