A documentary film on the life of former Israeli Premier David Ben Gurion will be one of a number of such documentaries of Zionist figures, Melvin Mark of Manchester. a British film producer, said here today. Mr. Mark announced last month he had signed an agreement with the former Premier to film a series of interviews with him for the film.
In disclosing the additional plans, he said films also will be made about Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Israel’s first President; Vladimir Jabotinsky, the Revisionist leader; and Chaim Arlosoroff, a Labor Zionist leader. Before leaving on another trip to Israel, Mr. Mark said the purpose of the film program was to project famous 20th century Jews against the background of modern Jewish history.
