Miss Ruby Dovery, the “Railway Queen of England,” whom the railway workers of Great Britain sent to Palestine “as a gesture of good will towards the Jews who are at this time the subject of so much persecution,” left for home today after spending several weeks in this country.

Miss Dovery was officially received by Tel Aviv and was presented by the acting mayor with a pin in the shape of the Tel Aviv emblem as a token of the city’s regard.
