Dr. Solig Brodetsky, vice-president of the British Zionist Federation, at a meeting of the association called to consider “the critical Palestine situation,” appealed last night for mobilization of Jews for constructive Palestine work.
Referring to the Royal Commission, he expressed the hope that Great Britain would honor the agreement, which, he said, it had entered into voluntarily twenty years ago.
He added that the Jews had no intention of retreating from the Balfour Declaration, which pledged Britain to facilitate creation of a Jewish homeland in the Holy Land.
