The Bronx County Council of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States will hold its annual convention today (Sunday) in the Bronx County Building, following a military ball which was to be staged Saturday at the Concourse Plaza Hotel.
An honorary committee for the ball, according to an announcement Friday, includes Mayor F. H. La-Guardia, Aldermanic President Bernard S. Deutsch, Borough President James J. Lyons and other public officials. This announcement also said entertainers would be headed by Sally Rand.
