Cornerstone-laying ceremonies were held here yesterday for a new $400, 000 synagogue and community center to be built by the Flatbush Park Jewish Center in Brooklyn.
Guest speakers at the ceremonies included District Attorney Edward S. Silver and State Senator William Rosenblatt. Rabbi David S. Halpern is spiritual leader of the synagogue and center.
