Brooklyn Sisterhoods Organize Branch of Women’s League

Representatives of more than 25 Brooklyn Sisterhoods met at the Brooklyn Jewish Centre, 667 Eastern Parkway, yesterday and organized a Brooklyn District of the New York Branch of the Women’s League of the United Synagogue of America. The purpose of the organization, it was declared by speakers, is to effect unity among Brooklyn sisterhoods for the solving of common problems and also to further cultural work among Jewish women.
