A gift of 120 books from Bucharest University to Tel Aviv University was turned over to Tel Aviv University officials today in a ceremony attended by Rumanian Legation representatives. Rumania is the only Communist country which rejected the lead of the Soviet Union in breaking off diplomatic relations with Israel during the June war.

Rumania is also the only Eastern Bloc nation represented in the International Youth Chess Championship Tourney now underway in Jerusalem. A Rumanian chess player arrived during the weekend and was immediately assigned to the competition.
