The cut made in the budget by the Palestine Jewish Agency Executive has been decided on in full agreement between the Zionist and the non-Zionist members of the Jewish Agency Executive, Mr. Emanuel Neuman, the American member of the Jewish Agency Executive, has replied to the cable message which he has received from the Palestine ‘Hebrew Teachers’ Union, urging him to proceed to Palestine in order to take up the matter, he has informed the J.T.A. here to-day.

It is impossible for me to proceed at this moment to Palestine, because of the present state of Zionist affairs in America, Mr. Neuman further stated. I had intended to proceed to London to-day, he added, but on the cabled request of my associates I shall remain in New York for another few weeks. I hope to reach Palestine early in 1932.
