The Bulgarian Government is considering the introduction of ghettos and yellow armbands for Jews in the country, the Rome radio reported today. A special office to prepare anti-Jewish legislation for the 50,000 Jews in Bulgaria will be set up by the Government in Sofia, the announcer said.
In the meantime, the Bulgarian radio today announced an “educational campaign” designed to prepare the ground for further anti-Jewish orders, since the anti-Jewish measures so far proclaimed in the country have met with opposition on the part of many Bulgarian non-Jews.
