The Bulgarian Government realizes the “righteousness” of Jewish demands for restoration of property confiscated by former regimes, but the present economic situation makes immediate restoration difficult, Minister for Social Affairs Grigor Cheshmedzhiev told a meeting of the Jewish action of the Social Democratic Party called to discuss the problem.
