Israel Lichtenstein, prominent leader of the Jewish Workers’ Party (Bund) in Poland, who came to this country in the interests of his party, died Friday in the Montefiore Hospital after a serious operation. He was 48 years old.
Arrangements are being made to send the body to Poland.
