The Michigan State Republican Convention in session here has unanimously renominated Supreme Court Justice Henry M. Butzel for re-election in November. Michigan being a solid Republican state, this means almost certain election.

Justice Butzel was nominated by Governor Fred W. Green who, on July 25, 1929, appointed him to the Supreme Court bench to fill a vacancy.
