Canada to Have Representative at Evian Conference

Canada will have an official observer at the Evian refugee-aid conference called by President Roosevelt, Minister of Immigration Thomas A. Crerar announced yesterday to a delegation of the Jewish Folk’s Committee.

With Minister of Public Works Pierre J.A. Cardin and Defense Minister Ian Mackenzie also present, the delegation made a plea for aid to Jewish refugees. The delegation said it represented twenty Jewish organizations in Toronto, Montreal and Winnipeg.
