Canada’s government confirmed it has approved a total investment of up to $100 million to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. The investment in the museum, slated for Winnipeg, includes the $30 million allocated to the project in 2003. The museum was the idea of the late Jewish media mogul Israel Asper.
