Canadian Company Granted License to Prospect for Oil in Israel

A fourth license to prospect for oil in Israel has been granted to a Canadian oil company with offices in Toronto, it was announced here today. It was also announced that the Palestine Petroleum Development Company has formally renounced its oil prospecting rights in Israel. The corporation is a subsidiary of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company.
