Canadian Jewish Leader Honored by University of Montreal; Gets Honorary Degree

Samuel Bronfman, noted communal leader and president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, today received an honorary degree from the University of Montreal in recognition of his outstanding service to higher education. This is the first time that a Jew is thus honored by the University.
