Canadian Jews Send 60,000 Pounds of Clothing to Israel Immigrants

The S. S. Yaffo, the last Israeli vessel to call at the port of Montreal until next spring, departed this week with a cargo of almost 60,000 pounds of new and used clothing destined for the various immigrant camps in Israel. The clothing was collected through the Materials for Israel of the United Zionist Council of Canada.
